Which Paris Photoshoot Should You Choose? A Simple Guide
Most of my clients ask me the same thing before booking: which session is right for us? Here is the short answer, then the details. I'm Max, a Paris photographer for more than 10 years, and I edit every photo myself.
The short answer
Couple: 1 hour at the Eiffel Tower, 20 edited photos, €250.
Family (up to 5 people): 1 hour, 30 edited photos, €300.
Proposal: 1 hour, so you can enjoy the moment before the ring photos. See my Eiffel Tower proposal guide.
Solo traveler: 1 hour, 20 edited photos, €220.
Short on time: 30 minutes before 5 PM, 10 edited photos, €160.
Two places (for example the Eiffel Tower and the Louvre): 2 hours, 40 to 45 edited photos, from €400.
Prices are per session, not per person, and include all taxes. Full details on the prices page.
How long should your Paris photoshoot be?
30 minutes: one place, 10 photos
Enough for a few beautiful photos at one spot, usually the Eiffel Tower. €160 before 5 PM, €200 after 5 PM. Up to 5 people.
1 hour: the session I recommend most
One area, and time to relax so the photos look natural. 20 edited photos for a solo traveler (€220) or a couple (€250), 30 for a family of up to 5 (€300). €350 after 5 PM (20 photos).
2 hours: two areas of Paris
Two areas, for example the Eiffel Tower and the Louvre, with 40 edited photos (solo €400, couple €430) or 45 for a family (€500). Transport between locations isn't included.
3 hours: a private tour of Paris
Three areas and 65 edited photos for €700, for a solo traveler, a couple or a family.
Where to do your photoshoot
Eiffel Tower: Trocadéro, Bir-Hakeim, the Seine quays and the Champ de Mars. The most requested.
Louvre and Palais Royal: elegant architecture and quieter courtyards.
Montmartre: village streets, for a relaxed, romantic feel.
Paris gardens: Luxembourg and Tuileries, great with children.
Indoor and hotel photoshoots: in your suite, or when the weather doesn't cooperate.
Historical photo tour: a 1.5-hour walk from Concorde to Saint-Michel, with the history of Paris and photos along the way (from €250 with 20 photos).
Which time of day is best?
Sunrise: the quietest moment at the Eiffel Tower, with soft light.
Golden hour before sunset: warm light, a few more people around.
After dark: the tower lights up and sparkles for a few minutes at the start of every hour. Evening rates apply after 5 PM.
The photographer matters as much as the package
Most people are not used to being photographed. I guide you the whole time: where to stand, what to do with your hands, how to look natural. You enjoy Paris, I take care of the rest.

Frequently asked questions
How long should a photoshoot in Paris be?
For most couples and families, 1 hour. It gives you time to relax, and you get 20 to 30 edited photos. Take 2 hours if you want two different areas.
What is the best place for a first photoshoot in Paris?
The Eiffel Tower. Trocadéro, Bir-Hakeim and the Seine quays give you very different views of the tower in one session.
Can we do the Eiffel Tower and the Louvre in the same session?
Yes, with a 2-hour session (two areas). Transport between the two isn't included.
What happens if it rains?
I first try to move your session to another time or day. A refund is only possible if we can't find a new slot.
Are prices per person?
No, prices are per session: solo, couple or family of up to 5 people.
Still not sure? Send me a message with your dates and what you have in mind, and I'll tell you honestly which session suits you.
