Paris Photo Tour: Historical Walking Tour & Photoshoot
The Paris historical photo tour is a 1.5-hour walking tour that combines sightseeing and a photoshoot. I'm Max, a Paris photographer with more than 10 years of experience: we walk from Place de la Concorde to Saint-Michel, through the Tuileries, past the Louvre and across the Seine, and I tell you the story of each place while I guide your poses and take your photos. It works for solo travelers, couples and families, even if you are not used to being photographed.

How the Paris photo tour works
1. We choose the day and time
Tell me your dates, who is coming and the time of day you prefer. Early morning is the quietest, but the schedule is flexible and I'll suggest the best option for your plans. We start at Place de la Concorde.
2. We walk and I tell you the story
We follow the route and stop at the best spots. I share the history of each place and tell you where to stand, how to walk and what to do with your hands, so you don't have to think about poses. I'm also happy to give you tips for the rest of your stay in Paris.
3. You receive your gallery
Within 5 working days you receive a private online gallery. You choose your favorite photos and I edit them myself, with natural colors and light.

The tour lasts 1.5 hours on foot. Here is what we see along the way.
Place de la Concorde and the Tuileries Garden
We begin at Place de la Concorde, the grand square at the heart of the French Revolution. Then we stroll through the Tuileries Garden, a formal French garden with fountains, statues and wide lawns, a calm break in the middle of the city.
The Palais Royal and the Louvre Pyramid
Next come the Palais Royal and the glass Pyramid of the Louvre, where classical architecture meets modern design. I'll tell you the story behind the palace and the Pyramid.
The Seine bridges, the Latin Quarter and Notre-Dame
We cross some of the bridges over the Seine, each with its own story, and reach the Latin Quarter, the bohemian and intellectual heart of Paris, with its small winding streets. Notre-Dame is on the route, and the tour ends near Saint-Michel.

The best time for a Paris photo tour
Early morning is my first recommendation: the Tuileries and the Louvre area are quieter, the light is soft and the walk is more relaxed.
Each season has its own look, from spring flowers in the gardens to autumn colors along the Seine. The day and time are flexible: tell me what suits your plans and I'll suggest the best option.

My advice: if you are a family, the family tour gives you the most photos, with 40 edited photos for the whole group. Two- and three-hour tours are also available if you want to see more of the city. Prefer a photoshoot in one area?
If you would rather stay in one place, a classic session of 30 minutes to 3 hours is a great option. What to wear on a Paris photo tour
We walk for about an hour and a half, so wear comfortable shoes you can walk in. Plain colors stand out well against the pale stone of the buildings; avoid busy patterns and big logos, and bring a light layer for early mornings. More tips in my guide on what to wear for a Paris photoshoot.
