The Best Photoshoot Locations in Paris (It's Not Just the Eiffel Tower)
Updated: 3 hours ago
Almost everyone who contacts me starts with the Eiffel Tower. It's iconic, and we can absolutely start there. But Paris is full of other beautiful places for photos, often quieter, more varied and more personal. Here are the locations I use most, and why.
1. The Eiffel Tower
The classic: Trocadéro and its stairs, the Bir-Hakeim bridge, and the small Haussmann streets where the Tower appears between the buildings. Busy during the day, very quiet at sunrise. Everything about it on my Eiffel Tower photoshoot page.

The Eiffel Tower isn't the only place for photos
If you've already seen thousands of Eiffel Tower pictures, or simply want variety, the places below give a different side of Paris. With a 2-hour session, we can combine the Eiffel Tower with one of them.
2. The Louvre and Palais-Royal
The glass pyramid, the courtyards and, right next door, the striped columns and arcades of Palais-Royal: elegant, graphic and easy to photograph at any time of day. See my Louvre and Palais-Royal photoshoot.

3. Montmartre
Cobbled streets, stairs, ivy-covered houses and a village atmosphere: perfect for couples and candid photos. See Montmartre photoshoots.
4. Paris gardens
The Tuileries, the Luxembourg and the Palais-Royal gardens give green, calm backgrounds, and space for kids to play. Beautiful in spring and autumn. See Paris gardens photoshoots.
5. The Seine and its bridges
Walking along the river gives natural, relaxed photos, and Pont Alexandre III is one of the most elegant bridges in the city.

6. Notre-Dame, Île de la Cité and the historic heart of Paris
The cathedral, the quays and the old streets of the island, ideal for a walk through history. My historical photo tour combines photos with the stories of these places.
7. Place des Vosges and the Marais
Brick facades, arcades and a peaceful square: a more local, less touristy side of Paris. More neighborhoods in areas to visit.
8. Café terraces
A café scene is the most Parisian photo of all. We choose a terrace on the way, order a coffee, and you just enjoy the moment.

9. Museums and indoor locations
For an artistic touch, or on a rainy day, Paris also offers beautiful indoor settings. See museums and art photoshoots and indoor photoshoots.
