English-Speaking Paris Photographer for American Travelers

For more than 10 years, most of the couples, families and solo travelers I photograph in Paris come from the United States, from all over the country. Today, about three out of four of my clients are American. I'm not American myself (I'm French-British), but I know what my American clients care about when they plan a photoshoot in Paris, and I speak your language, literally.

You get a relaxed, guided photoshoot with a Paris photographer who speaks fluent English, knows the city by heart and edits every photo himself. Rated 5.0 on Google with more than 300 reviews, and 5.0 from more than 400 reviews on Viator and Tripadvisor.

Why American travelers book their Paris photoshoot with me

  • Fluent English, no language barrier: from the first message to the last photo, everything happens in English. No awkward translations, no misunderstandings about what you want.

  • 10+ years of experience with US clients: proposals, honeymoons, family trips, birthdays, spring break, the trip of a lifetime. I know the questions you'll ask before you ask them.

  • You don't need to know how to pose: I tell you where to stand, how to move and where to look. Most of my clients say they were nervous for five minutes, then forgot the camera.

  • Every photo edited by me: natural colors, clean backgrounds, flattering light. The same consistent, elegant style in every gallery.

  • Clear prices, no surprises: the price is per session, not per person, and you know exactly how many edited photos you get.

  • Fast delivery: your private online gallery within 5 working days, or the next day as an option, so you can share your photos while you're still traveling.

A little bit of America in my story

I spent some time living in Alexandria, Virginia, just outside Washington DC, when my wife was working there. Living in the US helped me understand what American travelers expect: clear communication, a warm welcome, a professional who is on time and organized, and a fun, easy-going experience. It's exactly how I run my sessions in Paris.

Planning your Paris photoshoot from the US: your questions answered

Prices are in euros: how much is that in dollars?

My prices are in euros (€). When you pay online with your US card, the amount is converted to dollars automatically at the day's exchange rate. Check the current EUR to USD rate to get an idea, and keep in mind that the price is per session, not per person.

How do I book and pay from the United States?

Choose your session on my prices page and book online, or send me a message with your dates and the number of people. You pay the deposit online with your US card, and the conversion from euros to dollars is automatic. Everything else can be arranged by email or message before you fly.

What about the time difference?

Paris is 6 hours ahead of New York and 9 hours ahead of Los Angeles. I make sure to answer your messages quickly so your plans move forward, even across time zones.

Do I need to tip my photographer in France?

No. Tipping isn't expected in France, and nothing extra is required for your session. If you'd like to say thank you, a review on Google or Tripadvisor means a lot to me.

When is the best day of my trip for a photoshoot?

Jet lag can actually help: many American travelers wake up very early on their first days, which makes a sunrise session at the Eiffel Tower easy, with almost no one around. If you prefer, book your session on day 2 or 3, when you're settled in. See my tips on the best time for a photoshoot in Paris.

What should we wear?

Comfortable shoes for walking between spots, colors that suit you and the season, and outfits you feel good in. More ideas in my guide on what to wear for a Paris photoshoot.
